This small sandy beach, within a sheltered man-made inlet, is a very family-friendly snorkel site with easy access to the water 

Enjoy lovely patches of kelp dotted about the sandy seabed. This can be a popular site for seals to haul out; remember to always keep your distance from marine mammals to avoid disturbing them.

By road

Travel north through Whitehills, past Whitehills Marina towards Whitehills Caravan Park. The car park is situated next to the caravan park’s reception, immediately across from the snorkel site.

The nearest electric vehicle charging station is 2.6 miles away in Boyndie or 3 miles away in Banff.

By rail

The nearest train station is Keith (20 miles away) and Elgin (34 miles away).
