Part of the Lochaber snorkel trail!
A family-friendly spot for a snorkel and picnic, Loch Linnhe is a haven for marine life with lots to see underwater.
The beach to the south side is suitable for beginners while the
headland area will allow advanced snorkellers to explore the deeper habitat and environment.
By road
Follow the A82 north towards Fort William. Loch Linnhe picnic area is 1.8 miles north of Corran; pull off the main road into the car park (charges may apply). Both snorkel zones are easily accessible on either side of the protruding rocky headland.

This area is home to internationally important colonies of breeding seabirds (April-September) and seals (harbour seals June-July, grey seals August-December). Please behave responsibly and stay distant, wildlife should be left undisturbed. For more information see sealalliance.org and nature.scot. Avoid disturbing ground-nesting birds and livestock; follow the Outdoor Access and Marine Wildlife Watching codes.
