Sea slug (Eubranchus farrani) Eubranchus farrani

This species is variable in colour with four distinct varieties. The most common you will normally see is the translucent white one with yellow/orange patches. But it can also have purple/black or tawny/golden skin.

 

Behaviour

It feeds on hydroids (such as Obelia sp.)  attached to kelp.
